During the morning they will learn about the processes and applications used at crime scenes, including fingerprinting, foot and footwear casting and analysis of hair, fibre and blood spatter. In the afternoon they will work in teams to analyse the evidence collected from a crime scene using the techniques learned in the morning, and will make a case for presenting ‘at court’. The team making the most accurate case will be declared the winners and receive winners’ certificates.
This workshop is offered as a one off enhancement activity, and will also be run as a countywide interschool
challenge during the 2017-18 academic year. For further details please call 01634 204995 or email
