The session includes a brief history of money, a quiz to see how aware they are, activity to consider responsibilities and some practical budgeting. Children work in teams in gentle competition.
The workshop supports the PHSE curriculum, and reinforces lessons already taught. It is popular for Year 6 students as they go up to secondary school with new financial responsibility, or for those who have just started in Year 7.
This workshop is offered as a one off enhancement activity, and will also be run as a countywide interschool challenge during the 2017-18 academic year. For further details please call 01634 204995 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
