Escape Room STEM Challenge
STEM Puzzle Solving Challenge
What year group(s) is it suitable for? Years 6-13
How many students can take part? Up to 60 students working in groups of 6
How long does the workshop last? This is a morning-long workshop running between the start of the day and the school's lunchtime.
How much space do we need? Use of the school hall or a similar space is required for a full group.
Any other requirements? Multiple plug sockets, and a large display for presentations
We are delighted to invite your school to participate in our brand-new Escape Room STEM Challenge.
Students are challenged to solve a themed series of puzzles requiring them to use technology, maths and science skills in order to 'escape' the scenario.
They will work in teams to search for a series of interconnected clues, decipher codes and interact with custom-built gadgets in order to progress.
This activity has been designed to challenge the students and encourage teamwork, effective communication and collaboration. They are forced to share information, work together and combine skills in order to be successful.
The first team to complete the room wins a small prize.
