Build a Lego House Maths Challenge

How long:	Morning long workshop
Who:	KS2, 3 and 4 students – maximum 60

This challenge raises interest and awareness in construction and design, and contextualizes the Key Stage 2 and 3 Maths Curriculum. Participating pupils should not span more than two year groups in age.

The students work in teams to design and build their structures, from parts they ‘buy’ with limited funds. Once they have finished their designs they complete age related maths worksheets. The team considered to have created the best work will receive a small prize.

This workshop is offered as a one off enhancement activity, and will also be run as a countywide interschool challenge during the 2024-25 academic year. For further details please call 07887 535176 or email info@mebp.org
