All schools are invited to take up this exciting STEM opportunity to take part in the Young Eco Engineers (YEE) Project, where children build and race a real electric "Goblin" car.
The project blends hands-on engineering with environmental creativity. The students will work alongside professional engineering facilitators to assemble the kit, and then use recycled materials to design the bodywork and team costumes. The project culminates in an exciting Grand Prix racing challenge against other schools from across Kent and Medway next June.
Target Group are pupils in year 5, 6 or 7 who would benefit from this the most and be most interested.
The project officially launches with a virtual kick-off meeting in October. New schools will also have an initial briefing/training from the steering group to help us get set up.
